About Alisha
Alisha focuses her practice on income tax and GST/HST disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”). Alisha is a strategic and results-driven advocate, committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients in complex tax matters.
Alisha represents individuals and businesses at all stages of the tax dispute process, from initial audits through to litigation and resolution.
Alisha has experience handling a wide range of tax matters, including director’s liability, net worth assessments, expense classifications, and gross negligence penalties. In addition to dispute resolution, she assists clients with voluntary disclosures, judicial review applications, and interest relief requests.
Alisha has authored numerous articles on tax-related topics, published in respected outlets such as the Canadian Tax Foundation, Law360, and Canadian Accountant. She also contributed a textbook chapter on the indirect taxation of virtual currencies and blockchain assets.
Alisha has also presented on tax matters at conferences such as the Osgoode Hall School of Law Professional Development Program and the Canada Women in Medicine Conference.
