Ben represents owner-managers and high net worth individuals in disputes with CRA. Ben has a broad and varied background in tax and commercial disputes. This background includes working for a number of years for the Department of Justice, representing CRA before the Tax Court of Canada, Federal Court of Canada, and other courts. Ben has argued cases before all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Ben is on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association’s Taxation Law Section. He also writes about tax disputes on his Substack blog.
