Josiah Davis
About Josiah
Josiah is a Senior Associate at Beitel Tax Law. He advises on corporate reorganizations and represents owner-managers and high-net-worth individuals in their disputes with the CRA or before the Tax Court of Canada.
Josiah has broad experience in planning and implementing corporate reorganizations in a tax-efficient manner. In addition, Josiah represents taxpayers in audits and in appeals to the Tax Court of Canada. Josiah works frequently with franchisees, clients in the hospitality industry, and taxpayers whose real estate transactions have been audited. Josiah also works successfully with clients to rectify filing omissions through the voluntary disclosures program.
Josiah stays active in the tax bar of Toronto by acting as co-editor of Beitel Tax Disputes for the Owner-Manager. Josiah is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Young Tax Practitioners and has published in Canadian Tax Journal and Canadian Tax Focus. Currently, Josiah is a coach of the Lincoln Alexander School of Law’s Bowman Moot team and participates in Lincoln Alexander School of Law’s mentorship program.
Prior to joining Beitel Tax Law, Josiah articled and was an associate at an international law firm in downtown Toronto.
